Orchestrating the signature New Year’s Eve event at Aamby Valley City – Glitterati featuring a host of Bollywood superstars, international performers, laser & fire shows.
Task
The objective was to not only have a ticketed show but also to host some of the crème de la crème crowd of both business as well as Bollywood industry.
The signature New Year’s Eve event at Aamby Valley City, Glitterati is considered a perfect way to bid goodbye to olden days with a host of Bollywood superstars, international performers, laser & fire shows et al.
This has been their annual event featuring the top Bollywood celebrities and grand entertainment. The task at hand was not only to produce a ticketed show but also to host some of the crème de la crème crowd. This acted as a showcase of the venue and at the same time presented the opportunities of various collaborations resulting in a business building exercise.
The brief given to us was crystal clear of reviving the annual new year’s event of Glitterati with the limited budget that was on offer and yet keeping the essence of the event Intact.
The objective remained similar to all these years of showcasing the property and driving home the point that they are ready to cater to any of the event requirements that clients have. The team wanted to showcase all of their luxurious venues over three days of the glitterati.
The three-day affair was all about keeping guests entertained and making a strong point to the clients that Amby Valley is back, up, and running to cater to any requirements in the event space.
Glitterati since its inception has been hinged on Bollywood and Entertainment.We decided to present the grandeur of Bollywood and entertainment in our showcase with some creative tweaks. This three-day affair presented three different themes right from the eve prior being retro to New Year’s being Bollywood and the culminating day with Hawaiian poolside brunch.
It was brought to life with stunning sets and décor with some fun-filled engagement.
Aamby Valley being an off beat location that spreads across acres of land, amassive set and décor presented a logistical challenge during execution. Multiple recces were done and the final event was produced with a task force of around close to 200 people. The three different experiences enchanted close to 2500 People.
The pre-New Year’s party was on the retro theme with dance floor and music complementing and the post-new year brunch was at the poolside with people cherishing the Hawaiian theme and widespread to thrill their taste buds.
For the 31st December event, along with a gigantic stage set up with more than 3000 sq ft of LED used there were many other elements like red carpet paparazzi entry, Photo opportunities, curated seating for VVIPs and VIPS, Digital interactive wall, especially done up kid zone and food and bar counters which were seamlessly woven to bring out the Bollywood theme for the evening. All of this coupled with energetic performances and Fireworks amidst the natural backdrop of the Sahyadris made it memorable
The highlight and the star of the entire evening were DJ Aqeel who with his Bollywood magical spinning drove the crowd crazy from the moment the clock struck 12 to what was a continuous back-to-back chartbuster being belted till the wee hours in the morning.
The event culminated leaving most of the crowd to bring in the New Year with lots of enthusiasm and all of them being entertained. It was indeed the case of dance till you drop.Team Event studio managed this three-day affair to the client’s satisfaction and some great feedback from the client made us feel that more than 200 people working on the project was a successful and fulfilling effort.
The wide range of entertainment boasted of hosting from ever so glamorous Aarti Khetrapal who managed to catch the pulse of the audience from kick-off till the end of the event. She kept them engaged. The evening also saw a live band performance from Geet Sagar and tracks being mixed and played out by skillful DJ Sonia
