UNEP India has been a major catalyst in India’s campaign against single-use plastic ever since #BeatPlasticPollution was launched on World Environment Day 2018 in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.   

This creative collection aims to reduce the use of plastic bags in a unique way. Each garment has, as an exclusive accessory, a detachable reusable bag that is a fashion statement by itself. The team turned around the execution of the pitch dark black setup with sustainable materials unlike plastic infused vinyl & flex brandings in a matter of hours. The integral part was AV screens as apt support for showcasing TVC & Garment line with celebrities amidst media interactions 

As a Venue, unique rooftop of Cube Andheri was selected as the massive backdrop of Mumbai International Airport and a flurry of gigantic aircrafts made apt minimalistic yet elite setup space to host the crème de la creme guest list.
 
Sukesh Nayak, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy, said, “This is Ogilvy India coming together to solve a global problem. We have worked on a global problem and have come up with an idea that is unique and universal. I am thankful that Masaba agreed to partner with us and bring our idea to life, by designing a clothing line, where a part of the garment, when needed, turns into a bag. This is high fashion making a statement and serving a purpose for a cause.”

Such campaigns have traditionally been a big draw at the international awards circuits, especially Cannes Lions.
 
“Masaba is a partner for the idea. When I write something, I look for a partner with whom I see my sensibility and thinking matching. Masaba was the first name that came into my mind and so we went to her. She imbibes the value of fashion that one goes after — modern, bold, fusion,” Nayak said.

The designed garment range has an exclusive accessory—a detachable reusable bag. 

Online tutorials to design cloth bags in daily wear clothes will be out by next week on social media channels. Apart from this, the agency plans to collaborate with influencers to support and spread the social cause. 

Heavily driven by digital, the campaign was also seen in other media formats.

Glitterati since its inception has been hinged on Bollywood and Entertainment.We decided to present the grandeur of Bollywood and entertainment in our showcase with some creative tweaks. This three-day affair presented three different themes right from the eve prior being retro to New Year’s being Bollywood and the culminating day with Hawaiian poolside brunch.

It was brought to life with stunning sets and décor with some fun-filled engagement.

Aamby Valley being an off beat location that spreads across acres of land, amassive set and décor presented a logistical challenge during execution. Multiple recces were done and the final event was produced with a task force of around close to 200 people. The three different experiences enchanted close to 2500 People.

The pre-New Year’s party was on the retro theme with dance floor and music complementing and the post-new year brunch was at the poolside with people cherishing the Hawaiian theme and widespread to thrill their taste buds. 

For the 31st December event, along with a gigantic stage set up with more than 3000 sq ft of LED used there were many other elements like red carpet paparazzi entry, Photo opportunities, curated seating for VVIPs and VIPS, Digital interactive wall, especially done up kid zone and food and bar counters which were seamlessly woven to bring out the Bollywood theme for the evening. All of this coupled with energetic performances and Fireworks amidst the natural backdrop of the Sahyadris made it memorable

The highlight and the star of the entire evening were DJ Aqeel who with his Bollywood magical spinning drove the crowd crazy from the moment the clock struck 12 to what was a continuous back-to-back chartbuster being belted till the wee hours in the morning.

The event culminated leaving most of the crowd to bring in the New Year with lots of enthusiasm and all of them being entertained. It was indeed the case of dance till you drop.Team Event studio managed this three-day affair to the client’s satisfaction and some great feedback from the client made us feel that more than 200 people working on the project was a successful and fulfilling effort.
